Angela White Dalton concentrates her practice in probate, guardianship and chancery litigation, estate planning, family and elder law, commercial litigation and appellate practice. She has an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating available from this national attorney peer review organization and has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers–a Thompson Reuters publication since 2005. Ms. Dalton was elected Secretary of the New Jersey State Bar Association in 2011 and is in line to be President in 2016. She is an active member of several bar associations, and serves on many committees within those organizations. Ms. Dalton has lectured for such groups as the New Jersey Association for Justice, the New Jersey State Bar Association, Monmouth Bar Association, New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, and other civic organizations concentrating in areas including estate planning, special needs trusts, elder law, and legal ethics.
Ms. Dalton received her B.A. summa cum laude from Monmouth University, where she received a full scholarship as an H.R. Young Scholar and the Hon. Elvin R. Simmill Scholarship. She received her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law - Camden, with Honors, where she was a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Legal Research and Writing. The recipient of several other scholastic awards, including the Harry S. Truman Memorial Scholarship, Ms. Dalton was law clerk to the Hon. Thomas F. Shebell Jr., Presiding Judge Appellate Division, Superior Court of New Jersey. She was also a Lyndon B. Johnson Fellowship Legislative Assistant to the Hon. Robert Andrews, United States Congress, First District of New Jersey, and was a legal intern in the Trenton office of the New Jersey Attorney General.
Ms. Dalton resides in Howell Township (pop. 53,000 +/-) with her husband and three daughters, where she served four years on the Township Council as a Councilwoman and as Deputy Mayor, and a member of the Planning Board.
